Travis Harrison
Travis Harrison has been obsessed with music his entire life. Always the kid with his Walkman glued to his head, an ungodly amount of CDs, records & tapes scattered around his room with volumes of precious musical knowledge rattling around in his cranium.
Since 2004 he has owned & operated Serious Business Music, a recording studio, record label & musician's collective now based in SoHo. He has worked as an engineer on records by Robert Pollard's Boston Spaceships, Apache Beat, the Rosewood Thieves & countless others.
Travis works regularly as a drummer on stage & in the studio with his own band The Unsacred Hearts as well as Hurricane Bells, the Two Man Gentlemen Band & far too many more to list.
As a DJ, Travis is a tremendously versatile party starter. He can play the classic R&B specialist, classic rock lover, nerdy obscurist, Top 40 people pleaser, world music authority, as well as master of all things Motown, Stax 'n Hi. Ask & ye shall receive.
