My mission: to rid the world of the cheesy, embarrassing DJ and to create awesome parties with excellent music and a full dance floor!

I pledge to:

• Dig deep into my extensive music collection to keep every event fresh and fun, play a variety of genres, from mainstream dance and hip hop to rarities and obscure nuggets.

• Work closely with clients to create the memorable night they envision; from providing the equipment needed and helping them achieve a night that flows well with maximum dance floor action.

• Always understand that your event is about the YOU, your guests and the music, not ME.

• Spin music that is different and creative yet accessible and appropriate.

• Never play line dances or bring props or signs to your event.

• Emcee each party more minimally than the average wedding DJ, keeping it more directional and low key.

New York Magazine Says:

If you like...
Phoenix’s “Lisztomania” and Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It”

Then hire: Colleen Crumbcake

Here’s why: “One of my strengths is building excitement on the dance floor and throwing in fun, forgotten nuggets that make people lose their minds,” says Crumbcake, who spins regularly at Beauty Bar and Fontana’s and played Karen O’s 30th-birthday party. Her tastes run the gamut (indie rock, hip-hop, French pop, British Invasion), and though she never turns a mike over to a guest without a couple’s prior approval, she once segued D.J. Kool’s “Let Me Clear My Throat” into A Tribe Called Quest’s “Scenario” while a guest rapped along.
